Change of Roundcube's user interface
As of September 8th, 2025, Roundcube uses a new user interface design (skin). By default, the new design is applied for all users who did not actively change their skin. The new skin comes with more modern UI elements and should be more suitable for mobile devices. Stored E-Mails and their containing folders aren't modified by this change.
With the change the login page will be shown in the new design (in a light or dark variant depending on the browser settings) for all users.
Users who wish to continue using the previous design, can do so via their Roundcube settings. In order to change Roundcube's skin, the settings menu on the left-hand side of the application has to be opened. Then, in the "User Interface" menu, the skin can be changed. The choice is between the old design ("Classic"), the new design ("Elastic") and a third option ("Larry"). CMS recommends using Elastic.
