Workshop Research Data Know-How for Geographers
The University Library and Computer and Media Service of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin organize a workshop with the topic "Research Data Know-How for Geographers" in summer semester 2015.
The following topics can be offered depending on interests:
- What is research data?
- Why research data management?
- How does successful research data management look like? Which aspects need to be considered (technical requirements, data models, costs, licence issues)?
- Research data management at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
- How does the concrete work with repositories look like?
- Practical work with Pangaea® repository
- Discussion, open Question-and Answer session
You can inform us in advance, which topics you are particularly interested in.
Previous knowledge is not required.
