Attention: Due to restrictions in labour law the training rooms can only contain a maximum of 20 (rooms 1.701 and 1.702) or 12 (room 1.310) participants and one lecturer!


Training rooms in the Grimm-Zentrum (1st floor)


Preparation for using the room:

In order to have a successful event, you need to get an induction. Please arrange an appointment with one of our employees at the CMS support counter in the Grimm-Zentrum (Tel: 2093 70133). Especially if you intend to use your own computer, software or media, a testing is absolutely necessary.

At the very day of the event the CMS cannot guarantee a quick solution to the problem.

The room can be accessed by a central locking system. The respective cards will be handed out at the CMS support counter in the 1st floor in exchange for a deposit (ID card, etc.).


Rules for the use of rooms:

  • For every event you need to name a resonsible person.
  • Eating, drinking, smoking, talking on the phone as well as bringing pets to the PC pool is prohibited.
  • It is prohibited to change the arrangement of the seats.
  • Adjustments of the devices are not permitted.
  • Any wishes for installing software need to be discussed with the staff of the PC pool at least two weeks before the event.
  • You cannot install software on your own.
  • Please only use appropriate markers for the whiteboards.
  • As a general rule events in the Grimm-Zentrum start at 9 o'clock. There will be no support for malfunctioning technology before this time.
  • Cards for entrance need to be picked up on time at the CMS support counter in exchange for a deposit. At the very day of the event from 8.45 onwards, on the previous day until 8 pm (according to the opening hours).
