The option to record a session is deactivated by default. It is required by the GDPR to make sure this remains so, unless you really have the intention to record a session.
A recording should be started immediately, so that every (joining) participant is constantly made aware of it.
If applicable, please remind participants that they are not allowed to create own recordings.
Due to GDPR regulations, you are only allowed to use these recordings in Moodle if the purpose of the recording allows it and/or a permission of the recorded persons was granted.
